This latest version of ViewPoint (3.11.0) provides support for underlying software updates and also an update to support STF valid-values. Below are new features that have been included in the release. You may also get a more detailed look by reading through the attached Release Notes.
•Underlying Software Update Previous versions of ViewPoint were supported by Java version 1.4 and Weblogic 8.1. This version of ViewPoint now supports Java 1.6 and Weblogic 10.3. Previous versions of Java and Weblogic are no longer supported.
•SSL Certificate Requirement Based on the underlying software updates, an SSL Certificate is now required. Clients must either obtain a certificate from a trusted authority (e.g. VeriSign) or have Octagon create a self-signed certificate.
•STF Valid Values The current version of the FDA STF valid values now allows pre-clinical-study-report as a file-tag, whereas previous versions did not. The current valid values version also no longer contains the individual-subject-data-listing file-tag. Changes have been implemented to the Validator to support the current valid values file.
