Dan and I wanted to write to let you know that the CDASH New User Guide (UG) Version 1.0 will be released for public consumption by May 2010. This is an exciting accomplishment for the entire team.

Some highlights of the document:

• ~ 150 pages in length
• Focus on 16 domains
• Includes:
  • CDASH to SDTM Mapping
  • Implementation Examples
  • Form Level Completion Instructions
  • ODM CRF Examples
• Contains both vertical and horizontal dataset examples (to account for different DM systems)
• Will be fully hyperlinked for the following roles:
• CRF Designers
• Database Administrators
• SDTM Programmers
• Discusses using and creating fields which Do Not Exist in CDASH
• Many, many practical examples of implementation
